Arashiyama Bamboo Grove

So Arashiyama is only 90mins- 2hrs away, we thought it worth an explore.
The Arashiyama bamboo grove.. A little crowded but looks pretty and I could hide from the heat!

Then part way through we found a gardens. It cost to get in, but it was almost empty and so worth it!
