Kobe Cable Cars!

A Kobe day-trip, greeted by some interesting adverts

It's quite a cool juxtaposition between busy streets and intersections...

with the odd shrine hidden in between.

We stumbled across the famed Kobe Ropeway, so couldn't resist!

The views on the way up were rather pretty.

And at the top was a gorgeous herbal garden, so we took our time strolling down to the half-way point before picking the ropeway back up.

There was a super-cute/giant green house with some indoor/outdoor garden settings.

After a while we wondered past these really unusual washed-out buildings which look pretty European

On our way to another area which certainly didn't

China town!

We had to try the iconic Kobe Beef, and some dumplings for good measure.

The beef was pretty good, so mostly deserves it's reputation.

It was pretty much time to head back for work by now. But the best photo of the day is below.
