So we decided to scale Mt Bizan just next to us.

We may have cheated a little.

Find it was pretty easy - handy English signs were a nice surprise.

We climbed a million stairs to the ropeway.

There was also some pretty funky music. Now if anyone mentions the name of the city - Tokushima, it is accompanied with bursting into song... currently at three days later.

This was the very start of the song - I wish I had the chorus!

Pretty ropeway views.

The top was even better!

At the top they had a gorgeous lock gate, where people locked away their promises.

A person-sized kaleidoscope!

Enjoying the view!

Temples can be found everywhere, especially on mountains it seems.

Some interesting other bits and bob at the top too.

After all that 'fake' climbing, we went for Chicken Wontons!

But ordering had a twist with anew type of waiter.

This place suits me down to the ground. Not only do they have tissues and hair bobbles on hand for the practicalities of eating Ramen, they also have handy boxes to put your bags in under the table.
