It's party season!
Or to explain properly, the feria is here. This is one of the most well known festivals in Ronda, which we thought we would just miss because it is held the first week of September.
Looks like we caught it!
The main attraction is the bullfight at the weekend, but the rest of the town use it as an excuse to eat, drink and make merry! All of the cafes and restaurants bring out extra bars outdoors and special feria menus too
And then we found a street parade waiting to start!
So many beautiful floats, singers and dancers!
I had to take this :D
And this!
Another one! Just a flash of the music going on while this band wait to start.
We walked up the whole thing and looped back around to a tapas bar we had been to before, just to watch the whole thing again.
See the car? Poor guys were stuck there the entire time! (Just the other side is a ramp down to an underground car park - bad timing!)
We eat some dinner, and met Miguel/Michael. An Irish expat who married a Spanish gypsy lady. He immediately took us under his wing to show us every cheap bar he could before the end of the night!
Uh oh!
Much love
