So we were wondering around, looking for somewhere to eat dinner.
Trust me, between 4pm-8pm this is impossible, and when we finally got to about 8pm the streets became blocked...
A large parade! With the main feature carried by lots and lots of people who looked on the verge on struggling!
Thanks to these guys, it smelt so strongly of cloves, it reminded me of christmas, putting cloves into oranges :)
There there was the band.
and it was GIANT!
They seemed to just appear and restaurants scrabbled to remove the tables they were just setting out.
We found a foodie place and asked around. Strangely enough nobody knew what was going on. Apparently this kind of thing usually goes on in holy week (Spring), but this was pretty unusual and had no warning.
Quite a good find!
