Sundays used to be a mix of contentment (from having a day to do whatever you want) and a slight weight of gloom (for the coming work week). Since we started travelling, they are much more about feeling incredibly lucky to be where ever we are, and finding pretty spots to sit in and eat. Today was no exception! Not much excitement in this blog - just a lazy day.
We went to La Azohia, the opposite direction along the coast to Puerto de Mazarron, and about as far, but made much easy by a beautiful coastal path running the whole way.
We walked to Azohia, about an hour away, and actually added an extra 4km to the trip because we missed the restaurant we were looking for! (Thanks to Ryan's amazing Map reading):)
La Azohia is absolutely tiny!
But plenty of amazing looking restaurant and cool colourful bars along the way. It looks more like I would image a Mediterranean island to be like rather than Europe.
Beach Bars and outdoor terraces overlooking the sea. I was totally surprised, we definitely chose the wrong town to stay in!
A three hour lunch :D We eat most of the food before I could grab photos - Sorry mum!
with a stunning view!
Much love x
